  • The sweater was originally a type of work clothing made for fishermen who would brave the frigid north seas in pursuit of their livelihood. For them, protection from the elements, ease of movement, and durability were paramount. The Fisherman’s Sweater was the very beginning of that. With over 200 years of proud history in the UK, this Shepley yarn is made by a family-owned spinning mill that employs worsted spinning to produce that characteristic bulge in the yarn. The unique texture that can only come from 100% British wool exudes a history you actually feel when you wear it. Made in a simple, high-neck knit for the seaman who appreciates practicality above all else. Comes in the same two colors from last year as well as a beautiful, new coal gray for this season. We’ve also tweaked 4cm out of the length and 1cm out of the width.

Returns are offered within 7 days after product delivery on items that are unworn, unaltered and in new condition with all tags attached.
