JUAREZ COTTON SWEATSHIRTS
All sweatshirts will now be produced using Juarez Cotton.
Since the Fall/Winter 2019 season, FULLCOUNT has used loopwheel fleece made from yarn-dyed Zimbabwe cotton—the same cotton used in our jeans—for our standard sweatshirt fabrics.
Carefully selected long-staple fibers with excellent strength are spun under optimal conditions and slowly knitted on traditional Japanese loopwheel machines. The resulting sweatshirts, known for their exceptional comfort and soft texture, have become another signature of FULLCOUNT.
In recent years, we have continued to explore further improvements to the cotton used for our sweatshirts. While searching for a material that could offer both superior quality and a more stable supply, we finally discovered a new cotton that met our standards.
That cotton is Juarez Cotton from Mexico.
This cotton features long fibers and thick, white micro-cotton, known for its rich bulkiness and softness.
Because the fibers trap a large amount of air between them, the fabric provides excellent thermal insulation while remaining lightweight. It also has a natural elasticity similar to wool and is resistant to wrinkling—qualities that in many ways surpass those of Zimbabwe cotton.
Beginning with the Fall/Winter 2026 season, our sweatshirts will be carefully crafted using this rare cotton, Juarez Cotton, which is produced in very limited quantities worldwide.
From this season onward, all FULLCOUNT sweatshirts will be made with Juarez Cotton.
